I am a medical advocate, primary caregiver, cancer survivor and volunteer. In April 2020 I became a certified End-of-Life Doula. My life experiences over the last 23 years coupled with my certifications has put me in a unique position to offer personalized consulting and support services to anyone navigating their own or a loved one's serious illness or end of life journey. Sadly most people are unprepared for end-of-life events. Making a conscious decision to prepare for end-of-life is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your loved ones. Our lifetime is finite. Many people are uncomfortable thinking about or taking steps in planning or organizing their directive plans and final wishes. When an unexpected life event occurs and these directives or important conversations have not been addressed, those responsibilities fall on another person. The impact of suddenly being thrust into this role is very chaotic and stressful. Knowing this situation can be easily avoided is why I became certified and created My Angel Janice CEOLD support services. My life experiences as primary caregiver for my mom, often trials by fire, taught me how to be proactive and avoid living in a reactive state. I offer my expertise and guidance to provide personalized services such as Caregiver Respite, Directive and Final Wishes planning and consulting and WillowEOL Educator® courses. Let's work together to create and have these plans in place before they are needed. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your loved ones is peace of mind. We plan for birth, let's plan for death too.
