Hello Janice,
It's always astounded me that the phrase, thank you, is offered for actions or gifts varying from small and fleeting to completely the opposite end of the spectrum. Perhaps it's because all good things should be equally valued.
That said, I can't begin to express how meaningful our conversation was for me. You were everything I needed. I felt hopeful and heard. The resources you shared will help me chart my course. I will always be grateful. The best I could hope for you is that the good that you gave me in that 1 hour will return to you tenfold.
Thanks in abundance,
Ginny
Where do I begin? You came into our life during one of the worst moments imaginable. My beautiful bride, Amanda, was struggling to recover from a horrific car accident.
We had not updated our wills or planned our final wishes. The conversation was too difficult to have while Amanda was going through multiple surgeries, endless doctor appointments and healing.
You met us where we were and guided us to make time to think about what we each wanted for our end of life and then helped us have the difficult conversations. Thank you for the amazing gift of peace and comfort you gave us while we made our final plans.
In Gratitude,
Richard
Janice,
When my husband Joe's cancer returned, it was devastating. He did everything he could with treatments and chemo but the cancer was too aggressive.
Your kindness, support and guidance was appreciated beyond words! While Joe was actively dying, you went to the funeral home with me when I made his final arrangements. Having your moral support during that time was greatly appreciated.
After the funeral, you took the time to call and check in on me. Knowing you were there to listen while I was grieving and to let me talk about Joe was wonderful. I am so grateful for the amazing work you do. Linda
